Setting up for a fellowship
|
Harvest
provides many different opportunities for every member of the
family for the purpose of promoting fellowship and strengthening
the church family. Some are annual events, others are scheduled
on a selective basis. |

-
Thursday
evening open visitation and Saturday morning bus visitation.
Everyone is welcome to participate.
-
Revival.
About once a year Pastor Lewis invites a guest preacher to
hold a series of services designed to re-ignite the fire in
Christians and motivate us to serve God wholly.
-
Men's
outdoor activities. From time to time outdoor sporting
events are held for our men to enjoy the wonder of God's creation
and to promote a close bond among the men of Harvest Temple.
Some past activities have included: shooting sports, hunting
trips, golf outings, and fishing excursions in Canada.
-
Basketball.
Open basketball night is held each week on Monday evening
for the men and youth of the church as well as the community.
This is a great way to encourage teamwork and cooperation
among Christians as well as influence young men in the community
for Christ. Additionally, organized basketball leagues
are organized in the Spring and played after church on Sunday
night.
-
Ladies
and Men's seminars. From time to time, seminars
and retreats are held within reasonable driving distance geared
specifically to ladies or men. These always prove to
be a good time as well as a great spiritual benefit.
-
After-church
Fellowships. Occasionally, a fellowship is held
after the evening service for different events, such as a
youth fund-raiser, or church anniversary celebration, or a
number of other occasions. As always, good food and
sweet fellowship are the main attractions.
